Nucleus is a Screen Scotland supported feature documentary exploring the unending global legacy of nuclear weapons testing. Fresh from the UN Headquarters and Sheffield Doc Fest last week, we’re excited to announce the launch of the film’s Instagram page and our upcoming Crowdfunder campaign for the project, which goes live in September.
Director James Thomson and DOP Thomas Hogben recently had the privilege to film with Nucleus contributors where they delivered powerful testimonies at the UN in New York. The crew documented Alan (UK), Hina (Tahiti), and Diana (Kazakhstan) as they participated in the Third Meeting of State Parties to the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons.
We extend our deepest gratitude to our remarkable contributors for their trust, collaboration, and dedication. We are continually inspired by their efforts to support their communities and future generations. We would also like to give our heartfelt thanks to the teams at ICAN, UNODA and Beyond Nuclear for their invaluable support and belief in our project.
